How consulting for the film "The Invite" taught me about the book I wrote twenty years ago

When Olivia Wilde asked me to consult on her new film “The Invite,” a story about a marriage pushed to its limit by one very unexpected dinner party, I didn’t realize that I would see Mating In Captivity come alive through its characters (and the talented actors who play them including Penelope Cruz, Seth Rogan, and Wilde herself), or that the artistry of the film would give me greater insight on the book I wrote twenty years ago.
